An LRP Testimonial: Dear Mike and Sharon, For the situation I was in your program was perfect. The 3 hour daily counseling sessions were excellent and passed so quickly. The home work was beneficial and the free time just to walk on the beach and think was very therapeutic. Mike's friendship and gift to just come along side as a friend was used by the Lord to show me several things about myself. After only four days of that regiment, the Lord broke through to me and assured me of His love and His desire to help me. The remainder of my time at Dove Shores built upon that breakthrough. By the time I left after two full weeks, I was in a personal full blown revival. I feel the most connected to the Lord, the most surrendered and the most empowered that I've ever experienced in the 25 years of my Christian life, which began when I was 21 years old. I'm writing this after being back home for one month. My wife tells me, I'm a new man. Our services at the church have been the most blessed we've had. I feel like I'm connected to the Lord, and leading the way He would want. Michael & Dr. Sharon Hill Dear Mike and Sharon, I came to Dove Shores with a hope that I could learn more about myself and to renew my spirit and my relationship with God. I also hoped to process a painful pastor/parish break and to find some understanding of what happened and some healing. Your restoration program surpassed my expectations. First, through your loving care for a stranger, the privacy when I wanted it and the company when I needed it, I found myself relaxing and feeling very much at home within a few days. Then with great care and skill I was led in the 3-hour counseling sessions to an honest appraisal of my life, my feelings and the events which had brought me to Dove Shores. I found a safe place to explore my past relationships under the gentle hand of the Lord and the therapist. I found healing, I found understanding and, most importantly, I found that the truth I have preached about for so long was also true for me – that God had loved me throughout my whole life (even the bad parts) and would never stop loving me. It (the LRP Program) helped me so much in setting me on the road of self-discovery. I felt that it was very helpful to discuss our problems with a counselor. By doing this, you felt that you could say things without retaliation, because the counselor would make comments that structured the session and made things go more smoothly. Also she (the counselor) pointed out many, many, things that made me think and gave you insight on what to do in the future. Thanks, Mrs. R. |

Sharon was even more enlightening than we expected. We hoped that we (a husband and wife) would become closer through Therapy. With Sharon, however, I feel she has completely helped turn our relationship around! We were on the brink of divorce and now we feel closer than we did the day we married! An Life Restoration Testimonial: I came to Dove Shores seeking to hear the voice of God, actually getting angry and upset with God because I was asking Him to speak and He was silent. After the third morning of begging God to speak, He told me that he already had spoken to me through His word. I knew what God's word said, and therefore all I need to do is to obey. This got my mind off me and placed it where it should have been all along--on HIM. |

| When I first came here I was just coming out of an extremely unhealthy relationship. I was filled with a lot of guilt and pain. Through the time I spent counseling and praying, I was set free or all the guilt, and I was able to face the pain with Jesus by my side. I realized that a lot of the pain and guilt stemmed from lies I was believing about myself and Jesus. Now I'm armed with the Truth. And as you know, "the Truth shall set you free!" |
| My experience at The Dove Center was
very therapeutic and spiritually renewing. Mike and Sharon are
great hosts and very sensitive to the needs of a Pastor seeking renewal
out of the stresses of ministry. I thank God for a place like the

| Sharon
(Dr. Sharon P. Hill, LRP Therapist) lead me, with God as a guide,
away from the things that had ruined my life and led me back to a
wonderful relationship with God. I had an area of my life that I
had never given over to the Lord , but now my heart has nothing
but the face of God on it. Without truly giving yourself to
God. No healing, no restoration can take place. After
leading me back to God, she gave me instruction to overcome the
destructive aspects of my life. My wife and I may never be
together again as husband and wife, but I know that God will take care
of both (of us). He has something wonderful in-store for both of
us, and our children. I know now, that whatever happens, God will
still love me...Love me as a Father does his son.

| The Dove Center provided the
opportunity to retreat from life to gain the opportunity to focus on our
marriage. The beautiful location gave us the opportunity to relax
and share the natural experience together. Best of all, I feel
that I've got my wife back. I could not think of a better way to
use my vacation time.

| I came here (Dove Shores)without
hope for our marriage and personally felling depressed. Even
though we revealed some difficult things, and hurtful words were said
